The weird case
It was the year 2002, December 11, it was
a rainy day in Assam, India, and I was said that the government was organizing
a temporary group of technicians related to nuclear science and I was one of
the people who were recruited for taking part in a government program. I was
working as a nuclear physicist in the government college of Assam. four
military personals came in their military truck and took me with them to the
hill station haflong. along with them, there were 3 other nuclear research
technicians Janarthan, David, and Deva. we reached the army headquarters at
haflong at 4 pm. the place was filled with chaos, people were constantly moving
back and forth bringing in and bringing out the research materials from a place
that was completely covered by the military. it was around 40 to 50 acres. and
I noticed that the people going in and leaving from the place were wearing a hazmat
suit. we reached the military general’s office. the general instructed us that
we were brought here because, while the military was transferring a top-secret
nuclear missile from one place to another in their Truck Cargo Heavy Duty (TCHD) carriers, an accident took place, and the nuclear missile
started to radiate harmful radiations and the government is trying to control
them and we were also said that we were bought here temporarily to assist the
government until the government’s scientific technicians arrived, the next
morning. and also instructed not to leak this information to the public, if not
then the government would take severe action on those who do not follow these
orders. initially, we were shocked to learn this information, but still understood
the government’s position. we started to work on the case, but it had a small
problem, that was we were asked to work on the case with less amount of
knowledge about it. we don’t know what was exactly the source of radiation and
it was really difficult to detect its’s kind and also we were only asked to
give solution to control them till the morning before the actual government
technicians arrived. with the limited knowledge about the case, we weren’t able
to do much about it. one of our crew members Deva was really upset and then had
an argument with the colonel to share at least a little bit of information
about the accident, so that we can work even more efficiently, but it was to
vain. the government was clear in not letting out any information. it was
pretty clear that they are hiding something big. out of curiosity David, who
was quite good with computer database and servers. sneaked up into the
colonel's office without any officers noticing him. he looked upon his computer
which was connected to the government database. he got the copy of the files
regarding our case. he came up to us and said that he found something that’s
pretty wild. and instructed us to follow one after the other to the restroom
so, that we would not be caught suspicious by the government officials. first
David went to the bathroom and then after a while, I followed him, meanwhile,
Janarthanan was working. we sat inside our restrooms near to each other. David
slid the files he acquired. I read them, they were very shocking. the
government were hiding something big and the radiations are from an unknown
object, which the government themselves didn’t have much knowledge about and it
was also mentioned that the object was found on the haflong hill station, in
Assam at morning 4 am and it was said that the nearby villagers heard the sound
of some kind of huge blasts and also saw some meteor kind of looking objects in
the sky, some even said that they had a specific hexagonal shape. and all this
information led to the assumption that we may be dealing with extraterrestrial
objects. these materials and their characteristics clearly indicate that they
were not from here and the report didn’t mention, the finding of any
extraterrestrial bodies from the unspecified object. we then passed this
information to Janarthan and tried to act normal. we were scared and perplexed.
later the night we went to sleep in the military camp near our research area.
it was around 1' o 'clock at night. I was out of my room to go to the toilet.
while leaving out of the restroom, I found that Janarthanan and David were
pulled out of their rooms and forcefully took by the army men. my heart was
pounding on watching that. I really didn’t know how they found out about us. I
was scared to death. next, they entered my room. and found that I was not
there, meanwhile, I climbed through the back opening of the restroom and snuck
out of the army base, making sure that no one notices me. the next day I try to
go to my house and my university, but they were looking for me everywhere I go.
after few months of trying to run away from them, I understood that it was
impossible to escape from them or leave the country. so I assumed a false
identity and moved to a small village down south of Tamil Nadu. and I kept
quiet and didn't talk about the incident, because all these years I tried to escape and not to get
noticed by the government and I also tried to look about the where beings of Janarthan and David,
their families have no idea about where they went and has tried to search about
them and have also filed a police complaint leading nowhere. I didn’t talk
about this to anyone, but now I am writing about it on my blog after all these
years because for the past two days I could see, few suspicious people spying
on me from the outside of my house. I really don’t know whether I will be alive
or not or if they would kidnap me. so I wanted this story to reach the people
without it being gone with me forever. so until then if I was alive or good
enough to again speak with you people, it’s going to be a goodbye.
